@benb The latest game changing airframe in Ukraine is the Yak fighter. Yes you heard right: they are shooting down drones with the ancient Soviet prop plane technology.
Don't tell me they couldn't do that with A-10s, USMC should have donated 100. Even the Aussie F-18s could have managed that.

I'm not an expert but I think there may have been a dollars per flight hour issue with both the A-10 & the legacy hornets.
If they can fly the old prop planes more cheaply for the anti drone mission, that's great. @benb
@DeeGLloyd@benb Yes you still need the complete package, up top etc to fly them at all. Yaks are not worth the risk. I'm just bitter I don't get to see hogs strafing orcs.
