If public servants have to go back to the office 3 days a week... Do they finally get back what they had before 2020?

  • an assigned cubicle?
  • a locker to put their personal items?
  • two monitors when needed?
  • on-site keyboards and mice?
  • a bedbug and bat free office? (haha joke, that never happened, even before 2020)

@stephanie we definitely have a building with a bat problem

@Auxonic it's seriously so ridiculous

@stephanie work keyboards so bad I bought one. Hauling an entire cubicle to and from the office where I have to wear noise cancelling headphones. Maybe the idiots in charge should have their offices taken away

@Auxonic @stephanie On top of my ergonomic keyboard, vertical mouse and second screen, I’d also have to bring my friggin’ office chair with me because I’m short so even at their lowest level, standard chairs are too high. Oh, and the newfangled adjustable-height working stations? Also too high at their lowest level! So with my chair, that would give me the pleasant experience of typing at neck height.

Ergonomics! jazz hands

@stephanie @bougiewonderland @Auxonic Quit your whining, you silly public servants. Don't you know that we need you to waste your time going to worse working conditions so that you can keep buying gas and supporting local restaurants?

And also the bribes our politicians take from property developers to keep real estate prices high?

@stephanie I'm glad to hear the unions are mobilizing. I hope it gets to the point of employees refusing en masse to put up with this bullshit. This policy could seriously affect quality of life for workeres and the government as employer needs to start listening to its employees instead of corporate interests.
