Well, I've taken a mental health day. So far, I've accomplished nothing but a blog post and writing in my journal. My energy is low and I'm irritable. Best to just let things settle instead of trying to force myself to be creative.

A writer ought not write until the thought of not writing becomes unbearable.

Maybe a couple weeks off would do you good.

@snarkysteff It's good advice. Fortunately, I do think this is a temporary situation. I woke up in a deep funk because I'd had some heavy dreams last night. My emotions are all wonky today and I'm emotionally depleted.

I feel like I need to just eat dinner, have a hot bath and get twelve hours of shut eye and I'll be alright.
