He is not accused of having sex, which is legal. He is not accused of paying hush money, which is legal.
It does not matter whether Daniels is telling the truth. It does not matter whether she had sex with Trump. It does not matter what Daniels's motivation was. It does not matter whether Trump paid her to keep quiet.
If he knowingly conspired to hide an in-kind campaign contribution, he is guilty.
@GeePawHill the fact that this trial is splashed across UK news shows that it's about titillation, it's pointless and will do nothing, in the US I can't imagine it'll affect his vote either, after all if people accept him for what we know for certain about him, then they won't care about this trial either
@peterainbow@GeePawHill meanwhile the rest of us are being bombarded with news about the trial too and it's just like... We get it. We've gotten it for like a decade now, for some of the younger of us. We don't want to hear more about him unless it actually affects us or the good of the people, and we're tired of seeing his face.
As you mentioned, it must also be annoying af for people who aren't even in the US /gen
