@FlockOfCats @Strombo I got my teen correctly cleaning our Lodge cast iron. That said I don’t let them touch my Le Crueset Dutch oven. I do that one. Can’t afford to replace it.

Does the le Crueset need anything special? Or just don’t scratch it or scour off the enamel?

@mangotable @FlockOfCats I have some middle-grade 7-qt dutch oven with the enamel coating on the bottom pretty much gone. Should probably replace that.

I've at least taught my wife that if she isn't willing to dry it AND apply oil, then just leave it for me.
