Pros: It’s beautiful. It’s so so so beautiful.

It’s cold enough to discourage most people from moving here.
Strong privacy rights are written into the state constitution, so the GOP hasn’t managed to ban abortion (yet).
There’s a shocking number of good Thai restaurants & miscellaneous food trucks in Fairbanks.
Cons: The oil & mining industries destroyed the state politically. Just MAGAts everywhere near the cities. 😕
