Cameras cost basically nothing nowadays, putting one on wheels a few inches off the floor is worse and more expensive than just putting stationary cameras everywhere. So what is it for? Is it so Amazon can collect spatial data? Is it a pilot for a larger platform? Is it some engineer's pet project? It's so frustrating, because at best it's landfill and at worst it's a harbinger.
