We don't have an iPad Pro review for for you today.

Instead, @viticci takes an in-depth look at how iPadOS is holding the iPad back, something he's talked about in bits and pieces before, but never in one comprehensive story, and all from the perspective of someone who's been an iPad-first user for over a decade.

Not an iPad Pro Review: Why iPadOS Still Doesn’t Get the Basics Right

@johnvoorhees @viticci Good grief. Evolving is fine, but Apple did get the iPad basics right. They proved there was a market for tablets after other companies had tried and failed and thought that they had proved there was no market. Folk complaining are expecting the iPad to suit all their needs, which includes it behaving like a desktop. A lot are thrilled with them as they are.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to push things, see more evolution, but to say they didn't get the basics right?

@CStamp this comment proves that you haven't read the story, thus proving one of the points I make in it. 👍
