I suspect catch-up features have been slow to arrive on Mastodon due to wariness of Algorithms, but it’s the least evil way to let people read forwards in time from a saved position without feeling overwhelmed

@mattround I agree. I’ve been using Murmel and Fediview to get email digest catchups, I like the Phanpy option too. It’s a catch 22 of wanting to be algorithm-free, but also wanting to not miss “important/useful” content…!
