I’ve been having a blast making this. I still have lots of little tweaks and fixes on my todo list, but feel free to send me your feedback if you’ve got any :)

I also hope to make other color variations and add support for the advanced web interface, but let’s take on one thing at a time 😅

For those of you who like Tangerine UI but want to stick with Mastodon's purple palette, #TangerineUI now comes in 2 variants: Tangerine 🍊 and Purple🪻

And of course both have a light and a dark mode, + both look great on a small screen too :)

I have now added instructions to the Github repo if you want to install #TangerineUI as an optional theme on your Mastodon instance :)

This will also allow you to set Tangerine UI as the default theme for your Mastodon instance, while still letting your users revert to any of the default themes if they so choose.

@nileane ok my server ran out of memory while compiling the web assets, and compiling it again looks like it does something, but it's cached, so you have to clear the cache and compile again.

The repo for #TangerineUI now has instructions if you want to install the theme on your Glitch-soc instance ✨

If you follow these instructions, your users will be able to select Tangerine UI as their preferred theme in settings under Flavours → Vanilla Mastodon

Media overlays were kind of broken (background was opaque and pagination was invisible).

It's now fixed in v1.7.4 :)
