Beer from last night. Drank the new Elder Pine Lord Maris, The Otter - Barleywine - 15.7%
So this beer has been getting major hype, even outside of Maryland. I've seen people calling this beer as having whale quality. Going to be honest here. It's great, but a bit overhyped.
I've liked other Elder Pine barleywines even better than this one, so don't overpay if you chase beer whales.
Giving up on the weather, time to enjoy some AGED barrel-aged delights.
#gooseIsland 2021 Bourbon County #stout has aged well, full-bodied with beautiful mellow bourbon and vanilla notes and a sweet brown sugar finish. Decadent!

Drinking a Cushwa Brewing Dun - Mixed fermentation Grisette aged in Big Cork Vineyards white wine barrels with Viognier grape must and dry hopped with whole cone Amarillo - 5%
Closing out with #surlyBrewing CoCo Nitro Darkness, super smooth cocoa, deep and barrel- aged sweetness, really ending up as the favorite of the 2023 varietals!
