Made some shrimp fried (cauliflower) rice for dinner tonight on the flattop! The Husband doesn’t even care that it’s not real rice! He damn near took his plate and hid like a squirrel 😂😂😂.
#today It was time to dig up all of the spent corn stalks so they could be transported to the local history center to be used as decorations for their Autumn festival. #BeetBear was a big help and did most of the hard work, stopping only to pose for his beauty shots. Now we're hoping they show up with their truck in the next few days to pick them up. #gardening #Allotment #NewEngland #sweetcorn #BearsofMastodon
Mama bear showing her two cubs the best spots for berries, sage, and grass. Photo taken last week on my solo bear expedition and from a distance for safety reasons and also to give her plenty of space to forage. She knew I was there. I love bears as some of you already know and I really enjoyed that encounter.
In all seriousness, I just had a look at the posts on the #BearsOfMastodon tag and it looks like it's functioning fine with multiple valences of "bear". Unless there's conflict I don't know about. It's possible, folks!
Re a series of boosts: I can now say I've been harassed on Mastodon by an apparently maladjusted donkeykeeper, over the proper use of a hashtag I started.
I wasn't going to write about this but now I may, maybe. In any event that wasn't a sentence I thought I'd ever write!
& then the OP did remove the tag, & even made a public post apologizing. (Screenshots & links available upon req but I'm not trying to link this person up into the conflict any more than they already were)
I was initially inclined to help mediate a bit but we know how that went.
But for the record, this could have all gone far, far differently. For a counterexample I'd point people to #BearsOfMastodon which seems to have a variety of legitimate, divergent uses all +
@inquiline from a casual browsing, the #BearsOfMastodon tag really seems to be a utopia of “oh ok… well, we can make this work!” More of this spirit, everyone! 😄 🐻🏳️🌈
