The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Occupied Territories (#COGAT), Major General Ghasan Alyan, has released a "counter-report" in an attept to challenge and discredit (or simply introduce some doubt) UN's report about starvation in Gaza.
For the past few days, COGAT has published images of aid trucks waiting on the Palestinian side of the border crossing, claiming #UNRWA (which Israel helped defund, and is desperately trying to shudown) has been unable to collect and distribute them. Ynet, a center-right Israeli "news" site, known to be IDF's unwavering mouthpiece, has taken part in amplifying COGAT's narrative.

v Reuters - quotes from the speech of Israel PM Netanyahu :
ONGOING GROUND OPERATION IN #GAZA IS THE SECOND STAGE OF THE #WAR
WE WILL EXERT EVERY EFFORT TO RETURN #HOSTAGES
THOSE ACCUSING US OF WAR CRIMES ARE HYPOCRITS
THE WAR INSIDE THE GAZA STRIP WILL BE DIFFICULT AND LONG
CAN'T SAY #IRAN WAS INVOLVED IN PLANNING OF OCT. 7 ATTACK BUT THEY FUND #HAMAS
A division of the #Israeli military responsible to overseeing civilian affairs in #Gaza#COGAT said this morning that it would allow increased supplies through the #Rafah crossing in the coming days.
A spokesman said the (non-fuel) aid would be distributed via the UN in what it called “humanitarian safe zones” in southern Gaza around Khan Younis.
The UN and other aid agencies have described the situation in Gaza as a humanitarian crisis. (cont)
With an average of fewer than 20 trucks of basic aid each day, the need is huge and desperation means that civil order is on the verge of breaking down.
But the #COGAT spox said there were “no food shortages" in #Gaza, that water supplies were “enough to meet #humanitarian needs”, and that #Israel had opened two water supply lines in the south.
The spokesman also intimated there were plenty of medical supplies but they were being strictly controlled by #Hamas.
