is big angry that the slapped an on them for their regular practice of violating the rights of passing through their state. They say the conditions dictated by the court are just too onerous and impractical. Apparently, respecting the rights of the drivers they stop is just too unreasonable and unfair. I'm expecting the judge's response to be, "Did I stutter?"

give the wrong idea about how to share our limited street space. This bus driver is giving lots of room, and driving where they would be if were an makes for a much safer and more pleasant experience, even as the bus passes us going uphill. Wider bike lanes and a narrower shared center space would reduce speeds and put the conflict between streams of traffic with matching bumpers, requiring drivers to slow down and pay attention.

Basically since the moment bulldozed the trees and widened 39th (now Cesar Chavez Blvd) to four lanes, residents have stories of how they & other kids were not even allowed to go near that street on their bikes. But the bureau of "" remains perplexed about how to solve the problem they created or how to make their budgets work 🙄

Amazing stuff in this video of Denver's street designs @activetowns this is what north america's need to be doing, like mini-roundabouts for the price of a speed hump 😍, choke points mid-block on side streets, let's go!!! I particularly love how much they are squeezing these car lanes, if you want to change culture, only give like 3in of slack and engineers can go "🤷 just slow down, it'll fit" 😎

if you want to change the culture, fire cops (and traffic Engineers) who say stuff like "there are motorists out there that are driving in a way that kills people. Absolutely. But there are also people that are on bikes or pedestrians that need to be also more careful with what they’re doing. So it is a shared responsibility ..."

If every sign has to be put well out of the way of hitting it with their car, and everything that goes in the roadway needs to be forgiving of being run over with a car, is it any wonder that cars are out of control? City need to throw away the highway design manual and figure out how to design streets with obstacles that will break drunk people's cars, and the cars of reckless scofflaws.

Compiling a Linux kernel with mt6762 support right now. :blobcat_praise: It is very limited in scope for now. (Just the clocks, pin control, and basic SOC drivers are added.) Hopefully this is enough to initialize the SOC so I can begin mainlining. :blobcatroll:

so, like, our main thought on this is maybe Linux distributions shouldn't have been so tolerant of closed-source blobs for firmware all those years

when you give companies an exception to your processes they will find something horrifying to do with it

Intel GPU drivers now collect telemetry data on "which types of websites you visit, which Intel says are dumped into 30 categories and logged without URLs or information that identifies you, including how long and how often you visit certain types of sites". It also snitches details on your computer and "other devices in your environment", as well as "how you use your computer" (no clarification provided).

Update on the iMac 2009 with @system76 : sadly the Nvidia 9400M is not supported with the latest kernels.

Using a PPA, we can install a patched set of 340 series drivers (last supported for the GPU), but got artifacts and occasionally a freeze.

Reverted this and rolling with Nouveau. Just hope at some point we have opennvk and Nvidia just does the right thing and start supporting their gear on Linux.
