#JoeRogan loves to talk to horribly misinformed folks and grifters on #JRE. I wonder if I couldn't come up with some dumb conspiracy, get on the show and say shit like Alex Jones is a pedo. Use that to explore how bad info can lead good people to do horrible shit. Get shot while trying to "save democracy" cause somebody else said the election was stolen. That with free speech and unlimited internet media comes some responsibility to the public interest not to bullshit people. #LiberalValues
Astonishing the level of idiocracy this society is becoming youtu.be/lWAyfr3gxMA - a podcast with millions of listeners, listening to the most retarded ideas and not even laughing at their stupidity. This is scary. Two rich people talking so much gibberish it is hard to even poke fun at it, since "it" is so outlandish.
I can't tell if #GrahamHancock believes he's contributing to archaeology or grifting, but I think it's clear #FlintDibble exposed his ample misinformation and poor reasoning. And more importantly, he showed these kinds of conversations are valuable in the pursuit of better public understanding. The establishment is making a big mistake by not engaging their critics. If Joe can do it here, they are either misinformed/lying about him or how hard this is to do. #JRE https://pca.st/episode/f5ccebb5-ddde-4880-80f9-b6fcc76929b8
At least check out the last 6 and a half minutes. #JoeRogan makes a great point that the other way this is done, making response content without the criticized person involved, has led to much of the negativity we see. Inevitably something unfair is said or the tone is off. Commenters pile on. This kind of direct engagement is much better. It models better behavior for others and it far outweighs concerns about platforming (at least when the opposing view is already getting lots of attention).
Trying to listen to #JRE but it's rare now. Does he challenge his guests anymore? Does he ever have people on that he mostly disagrees with? Where is #AbbyMartin?
