Shall we start a national "Fuck off to California already Rishi" campaign?

How many more months of this lame duck must we suffer?

The Fixed Term Parliament Act of 2011 was of course, like much else exported from the Westminster Village, a misnomer.

The problem outlined below (the Tories ruling on stolen time) would disappear if we made a simple reform along US electoral (Presidential & Congressional) lines rather than bleating about 'a Parliamentary System is different.'

Simply fix all dates for future General Elections and stick to them +

One of the stats (interesting to me) about Labour winning/gaining the Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner election yesterday is that around half of the postal votes issued were not returned.

In other words the voters simply tore them up.

Y'know, an easy solution to this bollocks is to just get rid of #VoterID.

As an aside, I voted today and used my expired passport to do it. This system is completely arbitrary and designed to depress the vote.

For those who don't know, & maybe only follow my art, I'm also an activist.

And, I've decided to run for Galway City Council this year.

I've just launched a GoFundMe for my campaign, and any little bit would help get me on the council fighting for workers as a socialist voice.

This is a very powerful graphic. Where there is choice it dispels doubt. It re-enforces Green policy and shows direction of travel. The Green Party should use it more for the local elections on May 2nd imho.
