Looking for a way to rip BluRay discs so I can stream the videos via Plex, on Manjaro Linux. Every site on the net points to MakeMKV, except the BETA key for that expired at the end of April, and the site hasn't been updated with a new one... So, anyone got any ideas?
@itsfoss I have some favourites. So i dont look further. But I try without installing sometimes. #manjarolinux is my favourite but #ubuntu was my first. So some nostalgia is there.
i love #nix / #nixos for static types with compile time checks on my whole system, auto-generated docs, rollbacks and so much more, but it happens all the time that i want to try out some new language or look at some interesting graphics framework and i bump into some rough edge and everything spirals out of control and i end up reading about maven build process internals and the java native interface or something like that and that makes me sad
Nachdem im Manjaro Forum im Post zum vorletzten Update (stable) vom 10.07.2023 nur ca. 60% angegeben hatten, dass das Update bei Ihnen probemlos durchlief, habe ich mir etwas Sorgen gemacht und das Update erstmal aufgeschoben. Normalerweise ist die Rate derer, die keine Probleme hatten, deutlich höher (beim Update vom 17.07.2023 sogar über 90%).
Gestern habe ich dann bemerkt, dass bereits ein weiteres Update veröffentlicht wurde (17.07.2023) - nun wollte ich doch updaten.
Das habe ich heute Morgen getan und mit dem Schlimmsten gerechnet. Und siehe da, etwas mehr als 800 Pakete wurden aktualisiert und soweit ich das bisher beurteilen kann:
