Well, The Marvels was super fun. I cried like five times, but lost it laughing at least that many, too.
I'm squarely in the crosshairs for this flick ... Monica was MY Captain Marvel as a kid (though I loved Carol in this, especially the ways they showed how atrophied her people-skills are), and Ms. Marvel is one of my favorite MCU things so far, so this one hit all the sweet-spots for me. Especially happy that Kamala's family got to stick around as much as they did!
I'd like to think the buzz for this film was muted by the fact that no one was allowed to promote it, but who knows. I'm hearing good things and I'm excited to see it tonight! 😎 #MARVELS

You don't. No one is forcing you to 'do the homework.' You can just go in and pick up the story as you go. Haven't you ever come in on a story and picked it up along the way. A lot of stories are written this way. EVERY film should be able to stand on its own. If you see a sequel and feel it doesn't work without the first movie's story knowledge, that's cool. It's not for you. Watch what you want. 😎
GOT MY TICKETS for #MARVELS on 11/9 (less than a month away!!) and I couldn't be more excited. I've been waiting for this one ever since I watched #MsMarvel. 😎
