Per NHC: "Norma is moving just west of due north (355/7 kt) this morning. The hurricane is expected to make landfall in the hurricane warning area
this afternoon, cross the southern portion of Baja California Sur
tonight, and emerge over the southern Gulf of California on Sunday. Then, the weakening cyclone should turn toward the northeast and east-northeast and slowly approach the coast of Sinaloa in western Mexico on Sunday night into early Monday." #hurricane#norma#HurricaneNorma
Right now, looks like Norma is expected to be a CAT2 into Cabo. I should go look around at some of the other (less situationally-aware) social media and see if the tourists realize they are about to be smacked. #Norma#HurricaneNorma#hurricane#cabo#Mexico
#Norma is now a Category 4 Major Hurricane, with winds of 215 km/h (130 mph). A Hurricane Watch has been issued for the southern tip of Baja California Sur.
