Silly me, thinking the Clerk to the House of Commons & Erskine May would have given better advice. But no, Starmer went to the President of Israel.

Israeli President Herzog gave an address earlier, and then took questions from mostly international media. This is well worth watching. He is remarkable, and I am glad he is our President.
FYI: The Israeli President is focused more on national unity and doesn't have executive authority as I understand the role. I see the role as representing the Israeli people as a whole to the rest of the world.
