Something else I’ve noticed at #rsa this year is a lack of red. A lot of orange, pink and purple and blue, but not a lot of red, much less than previous years. (do not underestimate color impact when it comes to marketing and sales.) #rsac#rsac2024
Another change I have noticed at #rsa is a lot of older established companies opting for the smaller booths in the N/S connector this year. And then, of course, there are the new upstarts with way too much VC getting a booth that’s way too big for them, that hasn’t changed and probably never will. #rsac#rsac2024

I have now heard from several people that they got COVID at #RSAC. Apparently, it was a semi-super-spreader event.
People don't seem to mention this as much any more, It is as if getting COVID is expected. That's not a good expectation, especially considering the longer-term damage it can wreak on the neurological and cardio systems.
So far, @drpattie and I are COVID-free. We didn't see very many people with masks -- less than 1% but we wore them.
I know this is a windmill and hopeless but… I wonder how nicely I’d have to ask to get #RSAc to ban amplified audio on the show floor.
The noise floor in that space is so high and so wide that it’s amazing to me that anyone can hear anything in the first place. Kicking myself for not capturing a spectrum of it. Maybe next time.
And #RSAC is a wrap! As always, my thanks to the amazing team that works so hard to make this behemoth possible. If I was supposed to meet up with you at a gathering and didn’t, I’m sorry; the crowds got to be too much for me at times. But it was great to see and meet folks when I made it out.
