Capped off #Thanksgiving weekend by seeing #Napoleon with Mrs at #AMCtheater. Caught the moon showing off afterwards. The movie was brilliant too. Lots of um, action too. (Wink, wink, nod, nod...) 🍿👍
Good morning Mastodon, welcome to Wednesday! I got this interesting picture of the moon and clouds this morning with a few stars mixed in. I took this before heading into work two hours early. I've been seeing too much of the moon in the morning lately...
We took a hike in Cliff Cave Park this afternoon. The 1st photo is the lookout point from the parking lot by our car at 10x zoom. The 2nd is basically a reverse shot, a photo of the car from the lookout. If you zoom in you can see my wife's white Chevy Bolt backed into a space at the back of the lot. The last two pictures are just landscape and autumn colors. Great day for a walk straight up hill. 🙂

I'd like everyone's opinion on a photo, I took it with my S22 Ultra in astrophotography mode. Then I ran it through some editing software recommended by a fellow Mastodon traveler, ask me if interested.
I'm curious which is better and is it ok to edit photos to bring out full potential? Most say for astrophotography you need to, to remove light wash, but I'd like everyone's thoughts.
First is original, second is same shot cleaned up.
