Just returned from a funeral for a family member who had pancreatic cancer, but whose death came early because of a Covid infection. And out of around 120 people (most of them older than 60), only 6 of us were masked. I wasn't surprised, or even disappointed, but I just... it's like watching a whole room of people not be able to add two and two and reliably get four.

@Purplejavatroll I posted earlier today about a friend's husband dying from covid infection, this past Wednesday. He got infected from going to hospital for essential chemotherapy treatments. Despite both of them being very cautious & not going anywhere except essential places - public health authorities put them(and many others) at higher risks by removing all public health safety mandates.

It's freaking criminal!
