Have some new plants in my indoor garden. Shungiku is a type of edible chrysanthemum that is commonly used in Japanese cuisine. It has a unique flavor that is slightly sweet and earthy. Shungiku is rich in vitamins A and B, contains many antioxidants, and is a reliable source of potassium.
One of my very first course students came over for a visit today. The feedback I often get from my students is that they have started to get curious again about the world around them, the reality they experience. They become more playful and hungry to experience more of what life has to offer. For fun we found some crystals from my collection, and discussed their properties and programmability.
I’m having a great time growing my own food. Now it’s time to try some greens I might have eaten, but certainly not heard off before. This is Red Frill Mustard. If you have tips about what dishes to put this in, let me know. I’m happy to hear about your experience.
