so today im going with Yours Forever from Tetris Effect Connected! i absolutely adore tetris effect the last stage of journey mode is just such a special stage. insane that a tetris game can evoke some emotion that isnt me being angry at how bad i am at tetris lol
In Saints Row 3, in one of the missions you are driving with Pierce, and Sublime "What I Got" comes on. The voice actor(s) sing along, and it is one of my favorite moments in gaming. I went with the Laura Bailey one, since my character always used her voice.
I've been meaning to post this so since it's #vgmwednesday here we go - fitting the theme of #VideoGameVocals we have Build That Wall from the game #Bastion, which has one of the most beautiful soundtracks. I actually used this song at my wedding for the bride and groom dance
For this week's #VideogameVocals#VgmWednesday theme, I’ve got to go with Cherry Blossom Colour Season from Katamari Damacy (2004), written by Yuu Miyake.
Featuring a childrens choir singing lyrics about the simplicity and freedom we didn't appreciate when we were young (look up a translation!), it's a wistful tune with beautiful harmonies and strings. Brings a tear to my eye every time.
It's another #VGMWednesday and this time it's #VideogameVocals This is gonna be hard for me, but I think I will post 3 songs this week again. One from Guilty Gear Strive (again), one from Hunt: Showdown and the last from Warframe:
Okay, today is #VgmWednesday again, and it's all about #VideogameVocals. It took me a moment to figure out something appropriate, but then I remembered what a great choir Far Cry 5 had. So I'm sharing my favorite song from the Hope County Choir!
For this one, I chose a track from the game "The Cat Lady". A very NIN-esque one.
I absolutely recommend all the Harvester Games' stuff, if you like old-fashioned puzzle-adventure games with psychological horror and dark, mature themes.
Today's theme for #VgmWednesday from @miona is #VideogameVocals and the song that immediately comes to mind is "Setting Sail, Coming Home" by Darren Korb, the end theme from Bastion; the first game to make me bawl my eyes out.
(For anyone that hasn't played Bastion, I highly recommend it, as well as anything from Supergiant Games. Darren Korb composed the soundtracks for all of them and they're all SO good)
The theme for #VGMWednesday is #VideoGameVocals I'm going to go with what's been in my head the most recently. Wildfire from Honkai Star Rail; the music from the final boss encounter on Jarilo VI.
The lyrics may be a bit early emo cringe in places, but they still make an exciting accompaniment to the climactic end of a long story arc. And it ramps up during an amazing anime power up moment during the fight, so I can't help but get pumped when I hear that first yell!
@miona Gotta go with „Small two of Pieces“ from #Xenogears. Simply because of the strong emotional reaction it invokes, taking me back to one of the greatest videogames journeys I ever experienced.
They better play this at my funeral.
