Trumpism has all the trappings of a classic cult of personality: a charismatic figure at the center who is worshiped as a modern messiah by his followers; a leader who seemingly can do no wrong, even while engaged in patterns of criminal behavior to grift money from them; a master manipulator who controls the behavior, thoughts, information, and emotions of his flock.
Here’s the thing, #Biden doesn’t have to bleed away much of #Trump’s support, indeed focusing on persuading hardcore MAGA hat types to step away from their #DearLeader, is likely not the best use of one’s energy.
It’s the middle 1/3 of America that needs to be reminded of the destructive emptiness of the ersatz billionaire that is #DonaldTrump. Once reminded they need to be activated to vote. #Democracy is at stake
Watch out! Putin and the Saudi Arabian government have been working a deal. Since July, Saudi Arabia has cut oil production by one million barrels on a month by month basis. That cut has now been extended through the rest of #2023 This will result in higher gasoline prices and will likely lead to another interest rate hike - which will increase #Inflation!
All will be blamed on #POTUS#JoeBiden just in time for November 2024.
