Wooz, #moog just released the new #spectravox. I’ve been waiting for this since they had a limited run at the Moog fest in 2019. My birthday self-present for sure, if I manage to wait 😁
Gary Numan released Telekon, my favorite of his records, in 1980. It was the first vinyl I bought as a teen in the 90s. Hearing this intro track and the album that followed was mindblowing. Definitely listen to this whole record if you get a chance.
Here's "This Wreckage", the first song on Telekon, one of the best album opening tracks EVER:
@VampiresAndRobots hell yes!! I didn't pay much more than that either haha - just a couple bucks if I remember right. What DEALS. This album is SO special.
@starshaped oh wow HELL YES hahaha that SONG right?!? The video too, I mean, I remember getting this when it first came out, I was 15, I was obsessed. Still am, really. Wasn't really into their stuff after this album, but this was MAGICAL.
With a heavy heart I am selling my #Moog#DFAM + #Subharmonicon combo. Wonderful quirky inspirative machines. Perfect condition, 1000 €, Czech Republic or EU. Don’t have the time to play, after all that sitting in front of my computer I rather spend my free time outside. DM or mail me at zoul@zoul.cz if you’re interested. Sunday was #303day and I recorded a song with an #acid line to celebrate. While I don't own a hardware TB-303, my #Moog semimodulars served this role well.
This morning I'm taking a journey to try and get a modern wavetable polysynth to stand in as a surrogate for one of the best monosynths Moog ever produced.
Can I tame the 3rd Wave? Only one way to find out!
Today at 11am EST / 8am PST / 4pm CET I will be a guest on Alex Lindsay's (MacBreak) Office Hours morning show to talk about #moog Animoog Galaxy for #VisionPro. Hope you can tune in!
I've been pretty dismissive of Apple's Vision Pro VR headset as just another tech fad, but I will admit, this did pique my interest.
"Animoog Galaxy embodies the immediate and intuitive experience of playing a Moog instrument and applies it to spatial computing, enabling the user to quickly sculpt incredibly fluid sounds that live, breathe, and evolve in all dimensions."
