Last week I was in Greensboro as an expert in a patent troll case, and I went to Chipotle for dinner. The guy was being trained, first day. I ordered three tacos, instead of one scoop of steak distributed amongst three tacos, he gave me one scoop PER taco. It was wonderful. I won the taco lottery.
#SoapMaking storytime. So, I've been wanting to make coffee soap for quite some time. Apparently it is an ideal kitchen soap because it removes funny smells better than ordinary soap. There are different ways to make coffee soap and I decided to use a strong espresso to replace the water in my lye solution. As I had read that the soap can get a scorched smell with coffee if the lye solution gets too hot, I prepared the espresso in advance and froze it. But then I remembered that I wanted to put some citric acid into the lye solution as well and neutralize it with sodium bicarbonate (we have terribly hard water). So I melted some of the espresso again to dissolve the citric acid and sodium bicarbonate in it and it turned into Guinness. :blob_cat_eyes_owo: 1/x
