Stucco: where, literally, goofs you make are set in stone, LOL. Decided to punt on the color matching, and will instead be painting this to match.

DIY stucco, Part I. Paper applied around window. Tucked under existing paper on top and as far under the sides as possible, two layers. Lapped from top to shed water. Biggest issue is getting overlap on corners, not much clearance or space to tuck paper in there.

Conclusion: did my own stucco. Looked up a bunch of videos... got advice here. Was very careful about paper placement (optimizing as much as possible for overlap and making sure moisture would shed... hopefully!). Texture TBD, will paint to match. Mechanically, not that hard; the most difficult part is most certainly getting the paper overlapped right (and underneath the paper above) plus texture. I think I've got the texture close enough that someone wouldn't notice!
