Just tried and it's a perfection. :ablobcatangel:

All the best parts of : no cosmetics, no unusuals, no unbalanced weapons, no ranks, no aimbots. It doesn't clog RAM and CPU, has polished settings, lighting, gamemodes, better achievements. Easy with and in-house installer. Not to mention that the game is constantly maintained by Team .

I'm like a teenager again, so much fun playing again, hahaha! :0080:

https://www.gamesradar.com/after-years-of-supporting-mods-and-fan-games-valve-takes-action-against-team-fortress-and-portal-fan-projects/

I mean, fair is fair. You don't just nilly-willy port 's assets or any other developer's IP, for that matter, without licensing. It's problematic not only for the violator, but for originator down the line, as well. Such is the case with , and same with privately made gizmos from .

Whether some proprietary things were made in good faith or not is irrelevant, because, from standpoint of business, both this and depending project end up in association of some sort (unlike endorsement where both sides support each other on "paper").

> some amateur devs might start thinking twice before they start their next Half-Life fan project

...is but a consequence of dev understanding that their fan game won't make it to the finish line where it can proudly stay storefront and let Valve rest in comfort, knowing that it's linked to decent use of assets and not yet another wasteland.

Any TF2 players here - does anyone know why players on Valve servers can’t see my spray? Is this a bug? I swear it used to work

A lot of this is cringe, but when Gary Schwartz goes heavy voice "it costs 450 000 dollars to fire this gun for 12 seconds - I must be broke by now!" I died laughing

TF2's Voice Actors Play TF2 For The First Time

Most of them are... pretty clumsy, if it wasn't exaggerated for the video, then I guess most of them don't really play games (also this is how I found out Ellen McLain is married to John Patrick Lowrie?!). Robin Atkin Downes seems to have the best grip on it, Dennis Bateman the least. I wish they had brought Nathan Vetterlein, too, but I guess given his age, he's probably played too many games already, perhaps even TF2.

So I've done a few co-op matches in #100OrangeJuice, and I must say I actually prefer the co-op mode over the default pvp one. In fact, I tend to have a preference for team-based multiplayer games like #RocketLeague and #TeamFortress2 over free-for-all ones since they're not every man for themself.

Granted, there's still the risk of getting obliterated by the boss, but eh.

People I've seen on Twitter are excited for the TF2 summer update but for me, not really. I am just grateful but not overly excited.

Tell me, what's your first experience with TF2?

In 2014, I visited my cousin's house and saw him playing TF2 on his PC. Despite using my Intel i3 2nd Gen CPU laptop, I managed to play TF2, although loading levels caused freezing for a little bit, but playing it is a somewhat playable experience. That's also how I discovered Steam and down the rabbit hole of Valve games like...

Rip. 's (and apparently all the other source games acfording to reports on ProtonDB) no longer work on Linux since a recent update (apparently a week or so ago, but I havent played in a month).

Strange that of all people would update their games to NOT work. Was really hoping to pick it back up again :/
