today on dev:

wrote some tests for validating menus, and then what should've been a 10 minute cosmetic change to a level has turned into "oh shit some update somewhere broke how I exported levels" so overhauling my setup to nix

Made some minimap changes to help keep the player icon visible when there's a lot of tall and/or obscuring geometry in a level
