Hi @twostraws !

I believe I've found a small typo on this page in 100 Days of SwuitUI.

Where you say "we can just pass in a dummy value", the code snippet seems to be missing the opening curly brace.

What's the best way for me to report these things? I'm guessing it's not a repo I can Pull Request to?

@samwho hi Sam! Just a thought - would it be worth separating each symbol out to its own line, in the source code, to make PRs easier? And less likely to cause conflicts with other PRs?

I’m happy to do a PR for that change, if you think it’s a good idea.

(I like Laravel myself, but I know it's not the only option)

@MuseumShuffle @joshdholtz The best part for me, was discovering the single rider line on the raging spirit ride. If no one else wants to go on the ride with you, you go in your own private line, with no queue at all. You just walk straight to the front of the line and get on the ride.

One day, I rode that ride seven times in a row, one straight after the other. It was awesome.

Technology is weird.

There’s a British iOS dev living in NZ, who knows another iOS dev in Germany. I get to listen to them have a lovely old chat from time to time, where I get to learn about the Majestic Indie Dev Lifestyle.

I've been listening to them chat for a while now, it makes me feel like they're old buddies of mine … despite the fact that I've never met them, or even chatted to them (other than here).

In related news, if you're an iOS dev, I can warmly recommend @waitingforreview. :)

Hi @dave, can I ask your advice on xCode signing, please?

I'm starting an open-source app. I expect to have other devs eventually and I might even relinquish ownership at some point.

Should I use my private Apple Dev account as the Team in Signing & Capabilities? Will this prevent me handing the app on later?

@dave ignore me ... I dug a bit deeper and realised that yeah, I can create a new apple ID but nah, I can't use it for a developer account.

Meh, I'll just publish it under my real name.

@dave yeah, that sounds like good advice.

I believe I can't create a new org just for a half-dozen randoms on github anyway, because we're not a real company / organisation with a website and a DUNS number and everything.

So yeah, I'll keep it simple until / unless it needs to change.

@dave Also, it's good to know that you can transfer an app to a different org, if/when that becomes desirable.

Makes me more comfortable in just publishing it under my personal name for now.

    Weird question, but I have an old iPad that I don't use anymore, and I always see people take old laptop screens and convert them to portable HDMI monitors with eBay controllers, is there such a thing for iPads? (Not with software, I want literally just a dumb HDMI monitor.)
