Watched part 1 of the Steve Martin documentary on AppleTV. I’ve always loved Steve but boy, I had no idea how hard he worked or how long it took for him to earn his fame.

The doc is heart-warming, sincere, self-deprecating and fascinating. Looking forward to part 2. Highly recommended.

Weather has been “mixed” but @thebaywindowgirl and I only got slightly wet today around Rydal Water.
Today has been a huge milestone as this three miles and 450’ of ascent is the best I’ve walked since an operation 18 months ago. 😀

Been coming to the Lake District since 1975 but this is my first visit to Blea Tarn. Sunshine and showers made for some atmospheric views over to the Langdale Pikes. Can’t get up them anymore but I can admire from a distance!
