I’ve read that thread, and I understand your position. Thank you for sharing it again.

I just can’t generate traffic for them, I’m sorry. I appreciate that they may moderate hateful commenters, but they’re STILL platforming and monetizing Nazi shit. If they would, at minimum, de-monetize the Nazi stuff, I’d consider it a fair compromise, but they won’t.

My reading comprehension is pretty decent, actually. I get that many other platforms do the same thing. I appreciate the position you’re in, and harbor no ill will toward you for being forced to choose between shitty options.

But I take stances where I’m able. I do my best. The option is to just throw my hands up and do nothing. I’m sorry if it comes off as a special pleading. I guess I might as well go back to X and resume generating traffic for them as well.

    Trump courting unions is just so… not going to turn into anything.

    Just look at how the NLRB fared under Trump.

    He'll undoubtedly get some police fraternities (so-called "police unions") and such, as he has before, but beyond that?

    Color me incredibly skeptical.

    @hrefna you might be underestimating the number of union members in rural areas. I used belong to the UAW at a smaller manufacturer and probably 80% of the local’s members were/are very conservative.

    Sure, he would struggle with the big automaker unions, but plenty of the smaller ones are chock full of red hats.
