Paramount has tapped Toby Haynes (Andor) to direct a new film that expands on the Star Trek universe with Seth Grahame-Smith (It) penning the script. It takes place decades before the original 2009 Star Trek film.

You know what’s awesome? Every time I use my 1970s Hi-Fi stuff I just turn it on and it works.

There’s no updates to download and install, no notifications to swipe away and no Bluetooth that needs reconnecting.

The Spaceshipper calendar: October update

New month, new program.
The end of Ahsoka and Invasion S2 also marks the start of Scavengers Reign, Loki S2 & Rick and Morty S7. Original sci-fi films arrive in theaters, including Foe and Monsters of California.

October also sees the release of Star Trek: Infinite (PC), Endless Dungeon, Galactic Civilizations IV: Supernova and Journey to Foundation (VR).

A few weeks and about 2200 pages later, I've finally finished Akira. I've seen the anime many times, and I'd read the manga thirty years ago, but what a pleasure to rediscover this journey. And to remember how it influenced so many of the works that followed.

My iOS 17 interactive widgets are almost done!

I need a bit more time this year and won't make it on day one of iOS 17's launch, but they'll be out soon. Maybe another week or two.
