I got this kit for $16.99, and I'm going to see how I can improve it as I build it

Looking at the parts, that won't be difficult: there's a lot that are folded paper, or just some beads glued together

I want to use the framework and large pieces of furniture (sturdy laser cut wooden sheets) and change the details to my liking

I just got my booster at Walgreens, even though the pharmacy tried to tell me that unfortunately my (state provided) insurance doesn't cover Covid boosters anymore

So I said according to https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/programs/bridge/index.html I should be able to get it free of change no matter what, & https://www.vaccines.gov/ lists this Walgreens location as a provider, so how can we fix this? They said they needed to "check some things", & then I magically got it for free instead of $155.99

I'm starting a new linocut project, using (Instagram user) @Melosprout's Inktober 2022 prompts. I really enjoyed their 2023 prompts*, very Halloween-tinged, but last year they were much more holiday-cozy— which is perfect for what I want now

I'm doing all 31 prompts between now & the end of the year, I rearranged the official list to front-load autumnal things & back-load winter things, then used a random number generator for the things in between

I've spent probably 15 minutes on 2 different streams trying to get the subtitles back on— no luck— and it's pretty ironic this should happen during a movie with so little dialogue that I end up watching 2-3 minutes each time before finding out the subtitles still don't work
