I own a Huawei P20 phone with the Leica camera. I try to take at least 1 half decent photo every day if I can.

In 2020, Apress published my first book, 'Arduino Software Internals'. My second, 'Arduino Interrupts' was published in Dec 2023. I'm writing another as well as a 2nd edition of 'Internals' to document recent changes.

@mulad @kjhealy My tale is worse! I googled for a solution to a problem I was having on an Oracle database. The top hit had the actual solution---Google still worked back then---and it was from my own blog!

@RosePuckey Just read your thread, and voted.

I find that I'm attractive to mozzies when abroad, and leeches too. They are the real buggers. You don't feel the bite, they use an anticoagulant to keep the flow going, and it only becomes apparent that you have been leeched when the blood tricking down your leg tickles! Takes ages to stop bleeding.

Problem is, you have to let them drop off when they are finished. Don't do salt etc as they will vomit and that can seriously infect your wound.

Two sections of black tarmac were in the pub having a chat. A red section of tramac walked in. The bar went quiet.

One of the black bits turned to the other and said “Do not say anything to him, he will kill you"!

The god Thor was feeling horny and popped down to Earth to have his way. He met a woman and they headed off to bed for a night of passion.

Then had rampant sex for the whole night. Never in her life had she had such truly wonderful sex. Who was this strong man who seemed to be able to satisfy her time and time again?

According to the forecast, the weather is doing the "wrong" thing and is actually getting better in time for the holiday. We truly have broken the climate if this is the case! 😉
