A fan in South East Asia posted this photo of an English copy of Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name

The fact that SEGA have ostracised a huge chunk of their western audience in the UK and USA from having a physical copy (let alone a set like this) is honestly upsetting

Had an English import from Playasia ready to go but at the last minute customers were unfortunately told that the box art would be in Chinese

Working very slowly through Spider-Man 2 with my brother because we don't want it to end but it does make time for some photo mode shenanigans. This is my favourite so far.

Not scary or all that immersive, kind of annoying to play honestly with the melee combat and dodge system - snagging on walls too often with dodgy camera angles and getting caught in enemy attack loops made for an overall vexing experience

Over the weekend I got the chance to play a small section of Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name at EGX in London

SEGA and Nintendo were the only big developers at the event but let me tell you, SEGA dominated.

Hands down the best DLC I have ever played. The Kaito Files adds weight to an already stellar universe and its cast with its own self-encompassing story that wonderfully compliments the noir thriller of its base game

I ended up really relating to Kaito's backstory too which was surprising. It had me welling up out of nowhere 🥹

Also... I have a new crush 👀 😅

Bought the DLC season pass in the sale the other day so I've gone back to Lost Judgment - my (almost) game of the year 2021!

The Kaito Files has me HOOKED like I knew it would 😍

That was so much more work than I was anticipating.
The amount of glass ceilings in the dlc was a bit much honestly but it was nice to finally see the story wrapped up and concluded for the lead into Final Fantasy

Straight up sweaty, metagame nonsense

Also obnoxious to call it DLC when there are barely any new levels and they expect you to replay the old ones at higher difficulty

What was once fun has now become a chore... but you know me, I'll persevere like the glutton for punishment that I am 😂😂

What a ride, I went in expecting to not enjoy it based on community feedback but I've had absolute blast

It's a real nostalgia treat for fans of Final Fantasy seeing iconic locations again with a fresh coat of paint, you already know Mt. Gagazet and Delkfutt's tower put a smile on my face 😊

Started Stranger of Paradise last night

Completely forgot the demo progress carried over so I've been thrown right in at the deep end 😂

How play? What do? Why so much gear?

Team Ninja really need to calm down with their gear stats and effects, it's too much to keep on top of and understand what gear is better for your build

But I am having fun

Finally made it through and now I can play the remake next year without the self-inflicted shame of having never experienced its predecessor 😅

Arguably the worst version of P3 there is so it's strange that this one got ported as the gameplay outside of the Tartarus dungeon offers little more than a point and click style visual novel

Platinum Trophy No. 167: Unpacking

Once again I've picked up a "cosy" game despite never understanding their appeal, it seems I can't help myself 😅

Interesting visual storytelling but kind of monotonous putting the same or similar items into rooms across multiple houses, clothing being the worst of all.

People always complain about moving/unpacking in real life so it's weird to see it made into a game

Very short and sweet though if you're a plat hunter

Rolled credits on my first playthrough of Persona 3 portable last night, the Platinum is close... finally 😅

That was a lot of prep and grinding for a game that takes it easy on you most of the way. It was like learning a whole different game for those secret bosses - felt more like a puzzle game XD
