Government is apparently looking to pass a bill that would overrule the mayoral ULEZ expansion in London but should they be able to do that? Curious if is there hard data to show kids off school for ‘mild’ things? Covid19 enhances risk of heart disease and a huge study looking at millions of people both vaccinated and unvaccinated showed that vaccine reduces risk of heart disease and that impact is durable up to 1y post vax. Not quite sure what the antivax crew will make of this🤔

Latest pre-print from Akiko Iwasaki’s group shows differences in immune responses between women and men with Long Covid- suggests role for hormones and levels of testosterone in immune response and development of combustion- women had more exhausted t cells, antibodies to latent viruses, males higher natural killer (innate cell) responses but not monocytes. Year on year measles cases in children are going up fuelled largely by vaccine hesitancy from the vast swathes of vaccine disinformation.
