The modern corporate obsession with data is beyond incorrect, it's obscene.

If I order a pizza, there's no universe where the social contract should include a follow-up email about a survey. IT'S A PIZZA. And moreover, I PAID FOR IT WITH MONEY. You are not entitled to 5 minutes of my time to fill out your fucking survey.

Any marketer or data scientist who tells you that every pizza that gets ordered should also generate a survey request email IS FULL OF SHIT and is ABUSING YOUR CUSTOMERS.

@NaturaArtisMagistra Sorry this one's both non PC and tough to translate... it's about Brittany and the people who live there and swim in 2° water cuz the water super cold up there... so it's a spoof of the titanic and the guy swimming behind says "Oh guys the water's really fine once you're in it!" and the LdC kid says "Who put a guy from Brittany in the extras?!"

When sperm whales need a nap, they take a deep breath, dive down about 45 feet and arrange themselves into perfectly-level, vertical patterns. They sleep sound and still for up to two hours at a time between breaths, in pods of 5 or 6 whales, presumably for protection. No one knew whales slept vertically until a 2008 study documented the behavior. And no one captured really good photography of it in the wild until 2017 with Patrick Dykstra documenting sperm whales.

    @Barbramon1 @msquebanh same experience. Night of my 24th bday, I'm drivng home after the party at 4 or 5am, a cop alone pulled me over, gave me a field sobriety test (i was sober I don't drink), he then said "fine, where do you live?" I didn't want to tell him but he had my DL so I said the town and he said "I'll follow you to your place then". He did. All the way to my door. It. did. NOT. feel. comfortable. When I got there I ran inside and locked my door. The cruiser stayed there for hours.
