The Green gold of the Lake

HAPPY!
Among deers, a fox and grunting wild boars (so I was singing and whistling loud) I wen´t out since I had a feeling that it might be some aurora borealis tonight.

And yes I was right. At first it was very pale but just when I decided to pack my gear and go home I thought I saw some movement that could be a pilar of red light, and there she was, dancing again even though it is very bright at nights where I live now.
I shouted WOHOOO and laughed out loud out of pure joy to thank her 💚 ❤️

The same forest as in the previous image but moved the focus a bit to the right. Above the trees some green aurora borealis is visible even though it is not especially dark at 00:47 a.m. local time, UTC+2. The sky above has some visible stars and some cloud viels and stripes. Just above the horizon to the right some of the sunlight is still visible as a yellow thin stripe and there is a woman standing to the low right side in profile with her arms up in the air out of happiness. She is only visible down to her waist and she is only wearing a t-shirt even though it is just +3ºC.

Det ser ut som att jag valde en bra dag att vara frånvarande här, många upprörda röster kring politik i flödet.

Vissa dagar ska en inte läsa nyheter, hjärnan och frustrationen måste få vila lite också.

Men, jag fick mitt röstkort till EU-valet idag. Även om jag fortfarande är lite osäker på var min röst kommer landa så inte fasen är det nånstans till höger iallafall.

Up for a morning dip in the lake?

(I think this is a greylag goose anser anser, but not sure. It could also be a been goose, anser fabalis). I am a bit lost when it comes to birds that is not the most common ones.

Nice to be among all the other stars at night 😘

(Fom the night between Saturday & Sunday).

A landscape over the forest at night where the tree line is seen as a black silhouette. Even though it is just after midnight the lowest part of the sky is very bright. Above the trees a really pale green bow of aurora borealis is visible and above that some pale lilac pilars of aurora can be seen. The pale colours of the aurora is because of the somewhat bright light from the sun is seen even though it is in the middle of the night. The sky is filled with stars above the forest.

There is a gap between those trees where you can see the light from the cresent moon. To the low right side a very pale green and above that a bit red tone is visible.

*Näcken, a creature in scandinavian folklore, that is a naked man/creature sitting by a stream or a brook, playing a violin trying to lure young girls in the water to drown. (short version).

For everyone interested, for now it looks like there is a hugh chance for auroras again tonight, perhaps almost as strong as yesterday.

Dispite all the clouds it was still possible to catch some of that northern light (aurora borealis) tonight.

Not as breathtaking as many of the photos from around Europe that had a clear sky of course.

The rare thing about the first image is that it´s photoraphed towards south east which I have never experienced before.
Usualy that is not possible where I live.

And congratulations to all of you who hade the great fortune to see it for the first time and with a clear sky!

Oh my, how I love to see these numbers of the aurora borealis forecast. I really really hope it will happen, even though the nights are too bright now the high nummer on saturday might be visible if it gets that strong. And a big chance it could be seen as far south as half Eurorope where it is dark enough if it happens late enough in the evening.
