@cyclical_obsessive A few SDR sticks go that low, but I haven't seen good reports about performance. HF converters to remap 1-30 MHz up into VHF seem to be the way to go.
@virtuous_sloth Thank you so much! It's great to hear that something I wrote was helpful. My Linux virtualization work for some time has been limited to QEMU/kvm full-system virtualization. I added mention of incus and some links to my page, at the end of the LXC section. Let me know what's wrong with what I added!
@holgerschurig I have just visited it a little. Yes, Athens to Paris involved rolling through Berlin in the night and then changing trains early morning in Cologne!
@dermoth Yes, of course, I didn't intend to imply anything about RAID tuning at all. That series of pages is about tuning Linux, and if a RAID array is involved how best to use it. Not how to set up RAID.
@ljrk Yes, definitely not an Enterprise solution! But handy for consulting projects that suddenly have an "Oh and of course it needs to talk to AD" surprise.
@ljrk If I were to do it again, I would use FreeIPA and get the policy center and certificate authority etc all built in and not to be added to bare Samba. As if Samba were really bare and simple...
@berkough And, like several of my pages, it exists because I needed to figure it out once, which I found a pleasant challenge. But I did not want to have to figure it out again.
