Lot's of advice flying around today, I'm feeling spicy, so what the hell, why not kick a hornet's nest?

A vote is tactical, not strategic. Biden is actively aiding a genocide. But surely you see the ways in which a Trump presidency would be much, much worse– for people in the US and abroad– than another Biden term? Your vote, by itself, doesn't "solve" resurgent fascism- that's what constructive local action is for! What it CAN potentially do, is make the job a little bit less daunting.

@HeavenlyPossum What drives me nuts about this discourse is the (intentional) way that it obfuscates all the other, more important things we need to be doing. Vote? yes sure if you deem it useful given a specific set of circumstances. (personally, I think its useful in this particular election so I'll be voting). But for the love of god don't stop there! It's a tactical decision you make on a Tuesday, nothing more.

If the best thing you can say about “spatial computing” is that you can open a browser window in one room and walk away and it’ll still be there when you get back to that room, I’d like to point out that you can do that now by walking away from your computer and you don’t even have to strap something heavy to your face.
