If you're cold, they're cold...bring 'em inside ๐Ÿคฃ. Yesterday, I brought in a couple praying mantis that were struggling a bit with the temperature change. Not sure how long they have left, but they're both happily chowing down on crickets this morning. Last year, I had one in my classroom that made it all the way through December.

@NatureMC Depends on how big they are. I've kept smaller ones in big glass canning jars with a screen lid insert. Most of the time, I have an extra 5 or 10 gallon tank handy that they get set up in. Those plastic critter keepers will work also. Add some sticks and fake or real plants for them to hunt in ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘. This one went in a 5 gallon aquarium that was awaiting a redo on the background. Gotta grab some fake plants from my shed still.

@weebdeluxe @bookstodon While school is in session I don't get to read as much because I'm grading and planning lessons. 10 pages a day on average is probably about right and most of that comes on the weeeknds.

@chestas This is something I have to remind myself a lot. Probably not going to see 20 moves to theory at my level so it really pays to know why something works a d what to do when my opponent deviates.
