Google has moved the surveillance of fitbits to Google servers. It used to be done using fitbit-specific servers. Both kinds of surveillance are morally intolerable, and I don't see why one is more or less bad than the other. The crucial point is that this sort of surveillance is gratuitous, because it can easily be avoided. The morally legitimate way to design such …

@darth Little known fact: If you make a set of male-male NES controller cables, you can chain 8 NES consoles together through their controller ports to make a 64-bit console that can play Ocarina of Time.

This is actually how an N64 works internally, they just miniaturized it by using more modern technology to make it all fit into a single outer shell.

I am certain that most of my followers are well-versed in installation. Nonetheless, I've dedicated a significant amount of time to crafting this video specifically for beginners, and I would genuinely appreciate any form of support. Whether it's sharing the link with someone you think could benefit from it or any other gesture of encouragement, it means a lot to me. Thank you very much!

I was so happy when I found this PS2 available at my local GameStop! I've recently been repurchasing some of my favorite games and consoles from when I was kid, and its been such a thrill hunting and searching for these items.

Rare has broken #SeaOfThieves on #Linux. It no longer works. What I love about this is the fact that a lot of Linux users are angry and demanding a quick fix for the game on their operating system. #LinuxGaming has come such a long way that we have now grown balls to demand the product we paid for to be functional. And the best part is that Rare is "aware of the issue and working on a fix."

You love to see it.

So what do you think will happen with 2 next? (Steam satisfaction score is only 38% now)

  • gamers will bend the knee and give up complaining
  • will bend the knee and reconsider what PC gamers don’t want
  • neither. The game will slowly die.

Before was a thing, for me, I remember the only way to read my e-mail was physically going to University Computing Centre, sitting down at VT100 terminal and logging into local Solaris SPARC server where I have had an account with 2MB quota and reading my e-mail with Pine. This is also my social media story of the time with IRC.

What is your e-mail origins story?

How often do you check your mailbox? Once per day?

Now how often do you check your e-mail? Ah yes, push notifications... I think we are often slaving to technology when there is room to relax and go old school.

Perhaps I am not talking about you, but I think in many cases it would be healthy and reasonable to fetchmail once per day.

Let me know what you think.
