@amiserabilist The only thing I have to lose is my light perception if I stare at it for too long, but I have blackout curtains and can’t see it anyway. Too much light gives me a headache so I block it out.

Wow, our planet's magnetosphere is getting hammered by a solar wind created by a couple of coronal mass ejections from the other day. My Mastodon timeline is filled with beautiful aurora photos from much further south in Europe than normal. Americans: Heads up looking north after night fall--the show is likely to continue for awhile!
