After setting up app tracking protection on my phone a couple of days ago, I can see thousands of blocked tracking attempts across so many apps, including ones that aren't in use.

I don't use Facebook or Google, but they seem to insert themselves into everything to get their sticky mitts on #data.

Red deer stag eating fresh bramble leaves in the hedgerow. Seen from the window of my campervan when on the Isle of Arran. It was in Lochranza, where red deer are everywhere - in gardens, on the golf course, around the village hall and doctor’s surgery!

And while our Ukrainian heroes are fighting in the trenches, this is what the aid to Ukraine looks like: The US is not even contributing half as much as the European allies.

The Crannog Centre has reopened at Dalerb on the opposite side of Loch Tay after the original crannog burnt down three years ago. This larger site has an Iron Age village and they'll start building a new crannog in the loch in May, so folk will be able to watch progress. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-68661012

Penny's been with me since May 2006. She stayed with me when I was sleeping rough. She's been my most constant and most loyal companion for eighteen years. She's now unable to walk, unable to keep herself clean, in pain and incontinent. I am going to take her to the vets today to be put down. It's a hard decision.
