At exactly 7:00am PT every day, the pet rabbits run into my office and either nudge me or bite something to get my attention (they want a slice of apple). I would put in a bunny height bell for them to ring, but then they'd probably come along all day and ring the bell until I submitted to their demands for more snacks. #pets
Speaking of #cat#crimes--a cautionary tale:
Wife brings home the Thing. Puts it on the kitchen table.
Later, the Cat gets bored and jumps on the table. Finds the Thing (amongst other things) and does what cats do: knocks the Thing off the table.
The #Dog, of course, is waiting. They work together at times like this. She picks up the Thing and retreats to the couch. Gnaws the box open. Gnaws what's inside apart. Spills the stuff inside the Thing all over...
I never had cats over-eat (except one ex-feral) until the kittens, but it's been incredibly useful to be able to limit their food. Just from pix online, a lot of people have clearly overweight pets.
They'll live longer, be happier, and you'll save money too. $40 for an auto feeder seemed silly but it's really crazy cheap considering. The cats go NUTS for it too
