one of the old briefcases I got off eBay for storing files suddenly refused to open. the metal brackets inside stayed in place when the latches were undone. first we tried to use wire, screwdrivers, wedges to push the locking pins away. eventually the bf had to drill the aluminum where the retainers were latched. took an hour to get open and the case is ruined :LappSad:
