I consistently hear people on YouTube complain that the subscribe button doesn’t do anything for viewers, now that channel notifications are controlled by the bell. But it does do something: it puts the videos from that channel in your subscription feed, which is readily accessible on all versions of YouTube. So why do people...
I do, it’s usually nice to have voted users’ opinions of niche subreddits on pros and cons of different tools. Fi first search usually is “some problem I am having”, after 5-10 minutes, the second one is “some problem I am having reddit”.
It’s nice to see recommendations done by real humans of their personal preferences instead of 5-6 blog posts, those shitty versus pages that show nothing or closed SO questions because the answers are opinionated.
what? No. You can get stash tabs but the amount of loot you can take out of endgame zones is limited to 6 portals aka 6 inventory spaces, you don’t pay for inventory space.
Where’s the fun in a looter game if you can’t collect your loot?
Even if they are the same generation of teachers, those teachers have been teaching for a long while and have evolved their teachings just as society has evolved.
I don’t get where you get that a referendum would be demanded from the Basque Country independist party (bildu), that would totally go against what they have said about doing all that is possible to avoid having Vox in the government.
Also, that would be a stupid move, right now the basque population clearly doesn’t want independence, they want their special rights respected and their language to remain protected, which is what both the right nationalists and the left nationalists say, one focused in social issues and the other one on the industry.
Demanding a referendum for the basque country would be political suicide for any party, I’d bet that not even half of the Bildu voters want independence, they just vote the local left party because they feel like they will defend their interests, besides the independence thing, the best.
Edit:
Also, I wouldn’t bet on Vox going down on reelections, the reason PP went up is because it got a lot of Vox’s votes, people that hoped for a right government with PP. They have failed, so there will be several voters that will return to their original parties. The same thing will not happen to the left because there’s more urge now to avoid the right, I hope.
Please no I don’t want my instance to get overrun by reddit users :(
I mean some are cool but if we overpopulate instances they begin having issues, have we not learnt from lemmy.world and lemmy.ml having tons of issues early July?
Hi. So I’ve been a fish user for a while, but I’ve always gotten frustrated with it not being POSIX compliant. I tried to use zsh with oh-my-zsh to still benefit from fish’s capabilities on zsh, but I had 2 problems with it: it was incredibly slow, and it wasn’t as good. As I recently found out, the plugins can just be...
You are right, you need to block individual communities from your non NSFW account. There are not many that pop up in the all feed, and they can be blocked quite fast.
I initially only installed “Comodo Firewall” but for some reason they also installed a “Comodo Dragon Browser”, which I did not consent to. I always choose the “advanced” installation to uncheck bloatware, but in this case there was none and when you try to uninstall the browser, they force you to participate in...
Of course that you can delete all the files and folders of the program, but firewalls and such operate on a quite low level and fining all the files is a pain in the ass
We have some electric but lines in San Sebastian (Spain) too, no issues, the buses are lovely, they work fine. It has been about 4 years since they first got introduced, no major issues.
Because it doesn’t seem to matter currently if you play ranked games or casual games, the general experience tends to be the same. But one has numbers and things to go with it. You still get people playing to win in casual games and you get people dicking around having fun in ranked games, and the ranks don’t necessarily...
not the OP, but I have had some webpages that didn’t work correctly in firefox. Firefox’s market share is lower than 5% and some web devs have opted out of optimizing for firefox. The crypto stuff is completely opt in, I disabled it, added the typical ublock, decentraleyes, badger and clearurl addons and it’s basically as secure as modded firefox with the same addons or the shitty firefox port called librewolf with the settings that takes 1 min to set up already done by default, and yeah it’s shitty because it takes longer to update than firefox because all they do is to merge from the main branch.
If they asked chromium, let them, why the hell are you chastising people for their preferences.
When the Addon version change rolls in things will be different, but it has been delayed due to the user pushback and I don’t think that it will get implemented. If it does, tons of users will migrate to firefox anyway.
Do people just not use the YouTube subscription feed?
